Armidale Servies- $15,000 donation
Even when the ride is over, fundraising is still going on for Tour de Rocks.
The Armidale Ex Services Club has long been a great supporter of Tour de Rocks and recently Clubs NSW New England and North West Region CEO’s attended a race day in Armidale with a function that evening with funds raised from the event going to Tour de Rocks.
We would like to thank them for their generation donation of $15,000 from this day. Thank you for the continued support from the Armidale Ex Services Club, especially the CEO Scott Sullivan.
Poem - "Why We Ride"
Thanks to Tim "Knightro" Knight, from the Coastal Cruisers for sharing his Poem. We hope you agree that this captures the Spirit of the ride.
On Saturday 23rd June 2018, we joined the Tour de Cure family, and celebrated this year's accomplishments, at their highlight event, the Snow Ball. The outstanding generosity of the Tour de Cure Family, which Tour de Rocks plays a part, saw an unbelievable $1.3m raised on the night to fund cancer research projects. That takes them to an epic $40 million raised since 2007, and together, we've funded 322 cancer projects and 24 cancer breakthroughs.
We can only continue to help achieve this with the amazing support of all of you - riders, supporters, sponsors and volunteers.
